The German Grand Prix ended in a great finish this season because the elated Australian Mark Webber shrugged off a drive-through penalty to win this podium and end his long wait for Formula One success. German team mate Sebastian Vettel finished second in a Red Bull one-two to cut Briton Jenson Button’s championship lead to twenty one points with eight races remaining. Ferrari’s Felipe Massa was third, his first podium of the year. The normally calm Webber allowed all the years of pent-up emotion to pour out as he took the chequered flag, bellowing his jubilation across the team radio as he won for the first time in 130 starts. Webber ended in a great finish to this Grand Prix despite a drive-through penalty for causing a collision at the start and then he dominated throughout this race with beautiful driving that helped to clinch his first Formula One title of his career. Hope he will deliver the same performance in the upcoming races this season.

Endurance and Talent in Wimbledon Championships |
This year’s Wimbledon championship final matches had tennis fans around the world on the edge of their seats. The women’s final ended up as the epic rivalry of the renowned Williams sisters, Serena and Venus. The men’s final was another great match between powerhouses Roger Federer and Andy Roddick. Though the outcomes were a bit predictable, the matches themselves tested all the players to the very limit of their ability and allowed spectators a glimpse into the intensity and difficulty of the game. The women’s final was difficult, especially since each sister knew exactly how the other played. Although Federer won the last three matches between Roddick, he was not about to let his guard down against the American player. Roddick, who holds the record for the fastest serve, was determined to not only beat the Swiss player but also claim his second Grand Slam title. But in the end, Federer dominated the game and he won the match in a thrilling five setter giving him the 15th Grand Slam title of his career. Serena clinched the Wimbledon title in the women’s category. With the Wimbledon Championship finals over, tennis fans can now look forward to an exciting US Open, where once again, players from around the world will have another chance to prove their talents and ability in the sport.
