The Champions League T20 which is scheduled to start on December 3rd also got postponed to next year due to similar reasons and the IPL chairman told that the new schedule of dates and venues will be announced later. This terror attacks, spoiled all the cricket lovers all over India who were eagerly waiting to watch the Champions League series and the rest of two ODI between England and India went in disguise and by this most of the cricket fans were disappointed and most people say that this kind of terror attacks should be eliminated in the near future. The security for the players will be tightened more and more and hope that this kind of attack will not happen in the near future.

Terror strikes at Mumbai

It was a red letter day for the Mumbai people on Wednesday,the terrorists attacked at CST station first by firing at people and then they move on to Cama Hospital and injuring the people through firing and later in the midnight these groups got separated and they entered into Taj Hotel,Nari man House and Oberoi Trident Hotel. The gun battle rages on from the early morning with the army commandos and they also taken away some hostages along with them inside the hotel and in Nari man house. Sources from the media said they came to Mumbai through 2 ships from Pakistan along the Gujarat coast. They started on 18Th by sea. In this attack 125 people were killed and more than 300 got injured. Gun battle is going on for the past 55 hours and several hostages were being evacuated and rescued with the help of army and navy commandos and most of the hostages were foreigners. It is one of the worst attack i have ever seen in the history of our country. Hope the Government of India will take necessary measures to avoid this kind of terror attacks in the near future.

India wins 5th ODI at Cuttack

The 5th ODI match of the Hero Honda Cup Series between Engaland and India played at Cuttack, India won the match by 6 wickets. After winning the toss, India elected to field first. England started steadily after the early loss of Cook wicket,Pietersen and Collingwood shared some good partnership and after Collingwood's departure,Shah joined Pietersen and they shared an unbroken century stand between them.Pitersen slammed his 7th ODI century and Shah also posted his fifty which helped England set a target of 271 from 50 overs. Then in the chase, Indian openers Sachin and Sehwag blasted the Indian bowlers to all parts of the ground and they shared a century stand for the opening wicket with both the bastman reaching fifties and a later cameo from Dhoni and Raina boosted the victory for India easily. Dhoni and Raina got fifties and Sehwag was the top scorer with 91 runs. Finally India won the match by 6 wickets and leads the series 5-0. Viru won the man of the match award for his inspiring batting performance.

India clinches series in a rain hit game

The 4Th match of the Hero Honda Cup series between India and England was played at Bangalore.After England won the toss,they choose to field first. Sachin and Sehwag opened the Indian innings.Both started well,but Sachin was bowled by Broad for just 11 runs.Then Gambhir joined with Sehwag and both the batsman were playing brilliantly boosting the Indian team run rate above six per over.When the score was 103 from 17.1 overs on the board,heavy rain came and spoiled the match.Then after a delay of about two hours,the match officials decided that each team should have to bowl 22 overs.In the end,Yuvaraj played some cameo innings and Yusuf Pathan last ball six propelled the Indian team to score 166 runs for the loss of 4 wickets from 22 overs.According to D/L method England were set a target of 198 runs to win from 22

They put up a total of 158 runs on the board from 20 overs.Mahmood and Shahid Nazir restircted the Heroes to a modest total with some discipline boling attack. It was an exciting day at the Brazilian Grand Prix as it was the final season for this year F1 race and the decider of who will the championship title. It was a rainy day,but the Brazilian contender Massa dominated from the pole position and Hamilton followed him closely in order to achieve the championship title.In the final lap of the race, Hamilton started from sixth position.Massa was roaring at the top with awesome driving took the chequered flag with the home crowd as he clinched the Brazlian Grand Prix in style with Alonso finshing second and Raikkonen finishing third.Finally it was the man of the moment who finished fifth in this grand prix has breathed atlast to win the Championship title it was none other than Lewis Hamilton,the 23 year old from Britain and he was the youngest person to achieve this Championship title.Hamilton’s title was McLaren’s first since Mika Hakkinen in 1999 while he was Britain’s first World champion since Damon Hill in 1996.
