UNEXPECTED WINNER




Hi!!! As most of us watching cricket all over the world so there is not much attraction or time to watch the tennis tournaments.... i hereby say that the ATP Chennai Open which had started on December 31st and the tournament ended on January 6th... The top seeded players such as Rafael Nadal,Carlos Moya,Marcos Baghdatis and Mikhail Youzhny were participated in this tournament... As an unexpected event the cyprus player named marcos baghdatis was knocked out of the chennai open in the second round itself to an unseeded player...Then other top players got qualified into the last eight of the tournament..... Then in the semifinal there was a spirited clash between the two spanish player that is Carlos Moya and Rafael Nadal.... Nadal was fearsome with his forehand and went on to win the match in a thrilling contest in which he win all the three sets in a tie-breaker....Finally as expected Nadal had entered ino the final of the Chennai Open!!!!! On the other side the russian player named Michael Youzhny was very impressive with his serves in this tournament...... Then he entered into a semifinal clash with an unseeded player named Mario Cilic...... He went on to win the match in straight sets...... Then finally Michael Youzhny reached the final of the Chennai Open!!!!! Then the much awaited final of the Chennai Open between Nadal and Youzhny was played on January 6th at the Nungambakam Stadium.... All the chennai fans and the fans of tennis from all over the world expected that Nadal could win the match.....But there was real shocking to the tennis fans as the match turned in favour of Michael Youzhny...... He was very impressive with his serves and aces that he went on to win the match (6-0 &6-1) in straight sets......Thus tennis is a no more a game ruled by top seeds!!!!

Nice post machi....i also thought of Nadal winning the finals.But to everyone's surprise he lost the match in straight sets..
