Inspired Pakistan takes down India

Shoaib Malik’s men played the key moments of the contest better to clinch a thrilling 25-run win in the final of the Kitply tri-series at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium here on Saturday night.After winning the toss, Pak elected to bat first.Opener Salman Butt and Younis Khan scored centuries and their crucial 205 run partnership made pak set a mamooth total of 316 in 50 overs.Then in the Indian chase Sehwag departed early and Gautam Gambhir and rohit Sharma steadied the Indian innings and the Indian wickets fell at regular intervals.Yuvaraj and Dhoni scored half centuries but their contribution did not last longer.Pakistani paceman Umar Gul took four wickets as Pakistan clinched the Kitply cup by 25 runs.Younis Khan was named the man of the match and Salman Butt was adjudged the player of the series.
