Nadal clinches Rogers Cup

Rafael Nadal enthralled his tennis fans,the overwhelming Spaniard was delighted after lifting the Toronto Masters- Rogers Cup on Sunday. The world No.2 Wimbledon champion defeated Nicolas Kiefer of Germany by beating him in straight sets 6-3,6-2 on Sunday.It was his 29th straight victory on grass. now he tightens the grip with some 100 points beyond for the No.1 ranking in tennis which was owned by Roger Federer. Before this victory he was far behind Federer with some 300 points in the list. Now after this victory he moves closer and closer to clinch the top spot. The Spaniard now has 30 titles to his career,making him the third youngest in the game after Bjorn Borg and Jimmy Connors to achieve that feat. He has now seven titles in 2008. The Spaniard was in awesome form at the moment by clinching the Toronto Masters Cup by beating Kiefer easily in straight sets. Hope this form will continue in the coming U.S Open and other tournaments and I hope that he will soon gain the No.1 spot in tennis and will be crowned as a world champion.
