Friendship Day

Friendship Day celebrations takes place on the first Sunday of August every year. The tradition and culture of being honoring the friendship day began in U.S in the year 1935. But gradually it gained popularity and today friendship day is celebrated in large number of countries including India. On this day people spend time with friends and express their love for them and go for outing to celebrate this occasion. On this day friends will exchange gifts like flowers,cards and wrist bands and mark this occasion as a memorable one. A friend in need is a friend indeed which is a famous saying to maintain relationship among friends that will last longer. So on this day i wish all my pals a Happy Friendship Day!!!
