Rafa moves to top spot in tennis

Rafael Nadal of Spain has replaced Roger Federer as the new World No.1 in the tennis arena due to his stupendous achievements in the recent tennis championships.Federer, who is now 27, relinquishes his hold on the top spot after 237 weeks. Nadal only 22, and at this very young age he has played some of the best tennis of his career in the recent times, winning eight titles including Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the Olympic gold. The Swiss legend has struggled all through this season by losing some of the championships due to poor play and recently he also lost his game to James Blake at the Olympics, but he clinched the gold medal in men's doubles tennis finals at the Olympics which was the only credit that goes in favour of him. Due to this poor run in the recent times,he paves the way for the top spot to Nadal. The young Spaniard really deserves this achievement and hope he will continue this run in the future.
