Chandrayan-1
Chandrayan-1 is an unmanned lunar exploration that was launched by Indian Space Research Organization. This space craft is a modified version of PSLV-XL and the researchers have launched this space vehicle on October 22nd 2008,from Sathish Dhawan Space Centre-Sriharikota. Chandrayan means a moon vehicle which roughly captures images about lunar particles in space. This vehicle is launched in order to have a complete survey about the lunar space which produces a complete map of chemical characteristics and they also provide survey about the polar regions which is capped with ice and it is also used to get a topographical image in lunar space. So by this launch India is going on a moon mission, and the main objective is to produce a three dimensional atlas of both near and far side of the moon.
