India clinches series in a rain hit game

The 4Th match of the Hero Honda Cup series between India and England was played at Bangalore.After England won the toss,they choose to field first. Sachin and Sehwag opened the Indian innings.Both started well,but Sachin was bowled by Broad for just 11 runs.Then Gambhir joined with Sehwag and both the batsman were playing brilliantly boosting the Indian team run rate above six per over.When the score was 103 from 17.1 overs on the board,heavy rain came and spoiled the match.Then after a delay of about two hours,the match officials decided that each team should have to bowl 22 overs.In the end,Yuvaraj played some cameo innings and Yusuf Pathan last ball six propelled the Indian team to score 166 runs for the loss of 4 wickets from 22 overs.According to D/L method England were set a target of 198 runs to win from 22
overs.England openers Bell and Bopara didn't start steadily their innings and they were losing wickets at regular intervals.Shah and Flin toff batted superbly boosting the England runrate to some extent.But their innings didn't last longer.Shah departed for 72 runs and Flin toff departed for 41 runs.Collingwood scored 21 runs and finally England scored 178 runs from 22 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.India won the match by 19 runs(D/L method) and by this they also clinched the Hero Honda Cup and leads the series 4-0. Virender Sehwag was adjudged the man of the match award for his inspiring batting performance.
