Indian Jumbo retires from test cricket


In the third test match between India and Australia played at Ferozshah Kotla stadium in Delhi,the match was ended in a draw.In the first innings India scored some 600 odd runs on the board with Gambir and Laxman scoring double centuries.Australia also replied strongly by scoring 550 odd runs with some wonderful batting display by the top order batsman's of Australia with four of them scoring half centuries and Michael Clarke scoring a century.In the second innings Indians scored some 200 odd runs with Laxman scoring a fifty.Finally Australia ended the match at 31 runs without losing any wickets and the match was ended in a draw.The Indian Jumbo-Kumble later announced his retirement from test cricket at the end of the match.He took three wickets in this match and it was a memorable moment for him to retire from this position and situation and every player applauded him as he was a gem of Indian cricket and he becomes the third player who have taken 617 wickets in test cricket after Warne and Muralitharan.Jumbo rocked Indian cricket at all times and the his fans really miss him a lot!!!!
