Assembly Elections in North Indian States

The Assembly Elections in Delhi,MadhyaPradesh,Rajasthan,Chattisgarh and Mizoram went to the polls over the last three weeks but the counting for these polls were taken up on Monday. The Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party settled for two each out of four in the Assembly Elections in the NorthIndian States of Delhi,Rajasthan,MadhyaPradesh and Chattisgarh. The Congress won in the NorthEastern State of Mizoram also. The winners in this Assembly Elections in their respective states were: Sheila Dikshit(Delhi),Ashok Gehlot(Rajasthan),Lalthanhawla (Mizoram) and these persons belongs to the Congress party.Shivraj Singh Chauhan (MadhyaPradesh),RamanSingh(Chattisgarh) and these persons belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party. From the overall point of view Congress party tops the chart in this Assembly Elections by 3:2 winning ratio.
