Bowden replaces Rauf

Billy Bowden will replace Asad Rauf in the first test match of the RBS Cup between India and England at Chennai. Rauf was expected to officiate in the second test match at Mohali. According to ICC statement, Rauf had a city specific visa for the first test,but the match was shifted from Ahmedabad to Chennai following the Mumbai terror attacks,so he could not get a new visa in time. Pakistani nationals require city specific visa's while travelling to India. Due to these reasons,Bowden from New Zealand will be officiating in the first test at Chennai along with Daryl Harper with Jeff Crowe as the match referee. It is expected that Rauf will be officiating for the second test match at Mohali.
