South Africa seals Austalia with a record breaking chase

In the first test match between Australia and South Africa held at Perth, South Africa won the match by 6 wickets. After Australia won the toss, they choose to bat first. In the first innings they scored 375 runs. Katich, Symonds and Clarke chipped in with half centuries. For South Africa, fast bowler Ntini bagged 4 wickets. South Africa in reply scored 281 runs in their first innings. Kallis and Devilliers chipped in with half centuries. For Australia, Johnson bagged 8 wickets. With this Australia gained a lead of 94 runs in their first innings. In the second innings, Australia bowled out for 319 runs. Haddin was the top scorer for Australia with 94 runs. Harris and Kallis bagged 3 wickets each. Australia finally set South Africa a daunting target of 414 runs to win. South Africa replied strongly in their second innings, after the early loss of Mckenzie. Smith and Amla steadied the innings with some excellent batting. Amla was out for 53 runs and Smith scored a brilliant century and he was out for 108 runs. Kallis and Devilliers batted superbly and Kallis was out for 57 runs. Then debutant Duminy joined Devilliers and their century partnership provided South Africa to seal the match easily. South Africa beat Australia by 6 wickets and this is also second highest run chase , which was a record in test cricket history. Duminy scored 50 * runs and Devilliers scored 106* runs, a match winning century and he won the man of the match award for his excellent batting performance. South Africa leads the three match series 1-0.
