Webber clinches German Grand Prix in style

The German Grand Prix ended in a great finish this season because the elated Australian Mark Webber shrugged off a drive-through penalty to win this podium and end his long wait for Formula One success. German team mate Sebastian Vettel finished second in a Red Bull one-two to cut Briton Jenson Button’s championship lead to twenty one points with eight races remaining. Ferrari’s Felipe Massa was third, his first podium of the year. The normally calm Webber allowed all the years of pent-up emotion to pour out as he took the chequered flag, bellowing his jubilation across the team radio as he won for the first time in 130 starts. Webber ended in a great finish to this Grand Prix despite a drive-through penalty for causing a collision at the start and then he dominated throughout this race with beautiful driving that helped to clinch his first Formula One title of his career. Hope he will deliver the same performance in the upcoming races this season.
