INDIA THROUGH TO FINAL IN U-19 WORLD CUP

India Under-19s were stretched for the first time in the tournament but held their nerve in a tense chase under lights in wet conditions at the Kinara Oval to beat New Zealand by three wickets to reach their second successive final.After electing to bat first NewZealand was restricted to a modest total of 205 in 50 overs.Anderson was the top scorer for NewZealand with 70 runs.Virat Kohli was the pick of the Indian bowlers taking 2 wickets for 27 uns from 7 overs.Then the Indian chase was interuupted by rain and after late hiccups Goswami and Kohli contributed some good partnerships which lead to India's victory.India beat Nz by 3 wickets in d/l method in which Indians were asked to chase a target of 193 from 43 overs. From the Indian side Goswami scored 51 and Kohli scored 43. Kohli won the man of the match award for his all round performance.They now await the outcome of the South Africa-Pakistan clash on Friday.The winner of this match will play against India in the final on Sunday.Hope India will clinch the Under-19 world cup!!!
