Lahore Badshahs-The ICL Champions of 2008

It was an exciting contest between Hyderabad Heroes and Lahore Badshahs in the best of three finals of ICL. The fisrt final of ICL was won by Lahore Badhshahs and the second final was won by Hyderabad Heroes. It was a thrilling contest between the two teams who will win this edition of ICL. After Heroes won the toss, they choose to bat first. They put up a total of 158 runs on the board from 20 overs.Mahmood and Shahid Nazir restircted the Heroes to a modest total with some discipline boling attack. Then in the chase Badshahs openers Imran Nazir and Imran Farhat destroyed the Heroes bowling attack with some fery knocks through all parts of the ground. Imran Nazir whirlwind knock of 111* of 43 balls containing 7 fours and 11 sixes guided a comprehensive vicotry over the Heroes with 8 wcikets in hand.Nazir was the top scorer in this edition of ICL.Badshahs clinched the ICL cup in grand style with good all round performance from their team.Nazir won the man of the match award Rana Naved won the man of the series award. Badshahs the deserving champions of ICL-08.
