Nadal,Jankovic named ITF World Champions

The 22 year old Rafael Nadal of Spain whose currently holds the world No.1 ranking in tennis and Jelena Jankovic of Serbia whose performance was impressive in the recent tour matches have acclaimed her to be the World Champion of 2008. The International Tennis Federation named Nadal and Jankovic as the World Champions of 2008. Nadal who won the French Open,Wimbledon and Olympic gold in Beijing this year,becomes the first Spanish man to be named men's World Champion. Jankovic becomes Serbia's first tennis World Champion after securing this year-end No.1 ranking.
