Dilshan stars as Srilanka clinches series 2-0

In the second test match between Srilanka and Bangladesh held at Chittagong, Srilanka won the match by 465 runs. After winning the toss, Srilanka choose to bat first. Srilanka scored 384 runs in their first innings. Dilshan scored 162 runs, Kapugedara and Warnapura chipped in with half centuries. ShakibAlHasan took four wickets for Bangladesh. In reply,Bangladesh scored 208 runs in their first innings.Mortaza was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 63 runs. Mendis took four wickets for Srilanka.Srilanka gained a lead of 176 runs in their first innings. Srilanka in second innings scored 447 runs for the loss of 6 wickets and they declared their innings. Dilshan once again was the top scorer for lank ans with 143 runs.Sangakkara,Kapugedara and Samaraweera chipped in with half centuries.They set Bangladesh a daunting target of 624 runs to win. Bangladesh were finally bowled out for 158 runs in their second innings and Srilanka finally won the match by 465 runs. This is the fifth biggest margin of victory in test cricket in terms of runs. ShakibAlHasan was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 46 runs in their second innings.Dilshan took four wickets for the lank ans. Srilanka,after winning the first test by 107 runs ande second test by 465 runs they finally wrapped up the series 2-0 against Bangladesh. Dilshan won the man of the match and also the man of the series award for his all round performance in this test series against Bangladesh.
