WestIndies clinched a thriller in second ODI against NewZealand

In the second ODI between New Zealand and West Indies played at Christchurch, West Indies won the match by five wickets with a ball to spare. West Indies won the toss and they choose to field first. The play was delayed due to incessant rain and the match was reduced to 28 overs per side by D/L method. New Zealand managed to score 152 runs for the loss of eight wickets from 28 overs. Ryder was the top scorer with 32 runs. Edwards took 3 wickets for West Indies. Then in the chase, West Indies were losing wickets at regular intervals. In the end Sarwan and Ramdin partnership took the game away from New Zealand. Sarwan scored 67* runs,Ramdin scored 28 * runs and Gayle scored 36 runs were the top scorers for West Indies. Finally West Indies clinched a thrilling win with a ball to spare. They won the match by five wickets. By this victory West Indies leads the five match series 1-0. Sarwan was given the man of the match award for his inspiring batting performance.
